The Silver Lake Centre
Silver Lake is a wonderful community, however, many services are simply not available locally. It is frequently necessary to drive 10, 20 or even more miles to find shops that the rest of America takes for granted.The new Silver Lake Centre will change all that.
Anchored by high-quality tenants such as Wal*Mart, The Gap, Home Depot, Borders, Burger King, and others, the Centre will bring much needed services to this area.
It will also bring many new jobs and help revitalize the entire Silver Lake area!
For those and many other reasons, The Friends fully supports the construction of the Centre. Our petition at the Sunset Junction Street Fair was extremely successful, garnering well over three hundred signatures, and our new door-to-door campaign will attempt to increase that by an order of magnitude. Clearly, the residents of Silver Lake will welcome the Centre with open arms, and we fully support them!
